The campsite

The campsite was founded in 1983. We purchased it in 2008.
The campsite is surrounded by forests and is situated at the end of a dead end road, just at the lakeside (410 ha large and 17 km long). At 200 m metres from the campsite you can see the bridge Pont du Rouffet, after which the campsite was called.
The campsite is long and most of the camping pitches are situated along the road. From nearly each pitch you have a view over the lake. It is possible to swim in the lake, but there is no surveillance. You can also explore the lake by boat.
While the campsite is situated at a height of 435 metres, the nights are pleasantly cool. At night you can often admire a spectacular clear and starry sky.
The silence is surprising, and everyone is expected to respect the calm after 23.00 hours.. There is no restaurant and no animation. If you seek peace and quiet, you are at the right place! Barbecueing is authorised, but open fires are forbidden.

Disadvantage of all this: it’s a 10 minutes drive for a grocery store.

You can put your tent at any pitch. Pitch numbers 10, 21, 22, 23 and 24 are not suitable for caravans, motorhomes, folding caravans or big tents.
